Itinerary

1st  day    - Rome
Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel . Rest of the day is to relax. 


2nd  day  (BB/D)  - Rome/Perugia/Siena/Florence
Transfer to Perugia, the great "Guelf strong-hold" rises up in the region's heart, with its 5 storical quarters closed-in by its Etruscan town walls, by deluxe motor coach. In the afternoon, departure to Siena, magnificently surrounded by its walls and with its famous square "Piazza del Campo", designed in the shape of a shell. The elegant Palace and the Cathedral near by should not be missed as well. Afterwards, accommodation in hotel in Florence.


3rd  day  (BB/D)  - Florence
All day spent visiting Florence and its monuments during a one-day guided tour, which will include the Dome of Brunelleschi, its Bell tower by Giotto and its Baptistery. The tour continues through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and ends at the church of Santa Croce. In the evening, dinner with typical specialities in hillside restaurant.


4th  day  (BB/D)- Florence/Ferrara/Venice
After breakfast departure for Ferrara.In this medioeval city the area around the Cattedrale has always been the hub of city life. Nearby there is the Palazzo Ducale, now the Town Hall, and the famous Castello Estense built from 1385 onwards. Included in the medieval area are also Palazzina Marfisa d'Este and Casa Romei, two magnificent examples of Renaissance residences linked to the Estense lordship.  We continue to Venice, the city of gondolas. Enjoy a dinner at your hotel in Venice.


5th  day  (BB/L/D)  - Venice
All day is spent visiting the isles of Burano, a stop at the Lace School and San Francesco del Deserto, a secluded isle with a thirteenth-century Franciscan hermitage on it. Lunch at one of the most typical trattorias in Burano. In the afternoon sightseeing of Venice, St. Mark's square and the Doge's Palace from the outside and Ponte di Rialto.


6th  day  (BB) - Venice/Arezzo/Rome
After breakfast, departure for Arezzo on a hill close to the Appennino Tosco-Romagnolo. Arezzo boasts its ancient origin first as one of the greatest Etruscan towns and then a strategic Roman city.Sightseeing of Piazza Grande , the imposing Renaissance Loggiato Vasariano, the Palazzo delle Fraternita dei Laici and the Pieve di Santa Maria. The Piazza Grande hosts annually the Giostra del Saracino. In the afternoon, we return to Rome. Rest of the day is at your leisure.


7th  day  (BB)  - Rome
In the morning visit of the Vatican State and the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. After the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the "Fori Imperiali", the underground ruins of the Domus Aurea, the palace of the Emperor Nerone. Rest of time at leisure.


8th  day  (BB)  - Rome
After breakfast, transfer to Rome airport.
